Brief Description: This project will measure, track, and communicate Neuthread’s carbon impact and emissions across its production process, from the donation of raw textile to the finished couture garment. Unlike traditional charity retail, Neuthread operates as a design-led clothing brand, adding a layer of complexity and innovation rarely seen in the sector. The garments are created through a slow-fashion process, repurposing unsalable donations into couture-level pieces; for example, surplus Jaguar Land Rover leather was repurposed into a bespoke handbag, demonstrating the brand’s innovative reuse of industrial waste.
